Attempting a systematic recovery of my senses.
Summary: It's a good life, with many good things happening... My greatest Happiness (so far) is still happening now.
Hello,
how goes?
Do you ever wonder?
I peer into the tool atache that is my briefcase and notice the corner of an old note written to me.
It sparks a memory of fond times.
In fact, I am still in those fond times.
I am in the midst of quite an amazing era.
If this era ever comes to its denouement, I'll undoubtedly mark it as one of the highest peaks of my short existence on this little planet. It is basically the highest thus far.
What marks it as such a prominent episode?
This simply cannot be said.
What I can do is analog it to the phenomenon of spring.
During one glorious burst of just-the-right-conditions there is an awakening that happens.
Life explodes and the canvas is bombarded with vibrant pigmentations.
One might suggest that spring cycles in as does every season.
My comparison, of course, was not to the entirety of the world cycle.
My focus is in just the spring miracle.
If I were to project it to that magnitude, however, I would point out that I may be blessed with only one cycle. Some people live where there are four seasons. Some never get winter. Perhaps some get one beautiful, long spring, closing with one quick autumn and one quick winter.
In terms of seasons, too, one might argue one season is far superior to the rest. It may be the case that one season is more appropriate for one than the other. My point still has nothing to do with any of that, I was just making a comparison to something else, entirely.
My spirit has long been unshackled and grown wings, but not until recently was it that it had reason to soar.
With each life, you get one precious pass.
==Just reading around a bit. Found a quote.==
Chappelle stressed that the fame that grew as his show became increasingly popular wasn't the problem, but the environment he faced at Comedy Central.
"I would go to work on the show and I felt awful every day, that's not the way it was" he said. "I felt like some kind of prostitute or something. If I feel so bad, why keep on showing up to this place? I'm going to Africa. The hardest thing to do is to be true to yourself, especially when everybody is watching."
